Prelim designs...

Prelim design work for a cartoon I'm currently "writing" (hehe, is that cynical?). I'm trying to make SUPER SIMPLE, appealing character designs so they'll be easy to animate. If I strip off the superfluous details and stuff, I'll feel more comfortable pushing the animation as far as possible without lots of headaches over cleanup and such.

The character was gonna be a preacher but I think I'm going to make him a door to door salesman. The lightbulb shape should be easy to work with. I think the other primary character will be a little more tricky to design, but hopefully I can keep this level of simplicity.

Why am I writing more cartoons when I have a two 3 minute cartoons and a 7 minute cartoon to finish? *Sigh* Back to the drawing table...

"I'm trying to make SUPER SIMPLE, appealing character designs so they'll be easy to animate." You're succeeding: this character is super cool! I can't wait to see him in a cartoon. As usual, I'm loving those kickass expressions.
